Allegation Protocol and Prevention
This training is designed to equip families with essential tools and insights to navigate the complexities of fostering. Participants will:
Learn how to ask “the right questions” before accepting a placement.
Gain helpful tips on what and when to document important events.
Discover creative strategies for prioritizing and reducing conflicts between adults and children.
Develop a basic understanding of confidentiality rules, including the importance of respecting and valuing privacy.
Understand the process of investigating an allegation in a foster home, including what families can expect during the process.
By the end of the session, participants will feel more prepared and confident in their role as foster parents, fostering better communication, documentation practices, and a clear understanding of their responsibilities. RSVP here: Allegation Protocol and Prevention
