Visits are a crucial yet often challenging part of the reunification process. They can bring up a range of emotions and behaviors for children in foster care. In this training, we will explore the importance of visits, provide guidance on helping foster children navigate their emotions, and offer strategies to support birth families throughout the process. Ultimately, visits play a vital role in family reunification—the primary goal of foster care. This training will offer Resource families the guidance in supervising these visits effectively and safely. RSVP here: Building Safe Connections: Supervising Child Visitation
