Youth In Care Series 4 of 4 Caring for Children Who Have Experienced Sexual Abuse -
Being trauma-informed can go a long way toward supporting children who have experienced sexual abuse. In this workshop we will discuss some of the things that are specific to caring for children who have experienced sexual abuse, including understanding its prevalence, responding to disclosures of abuse, teen dating violence and sexual assault, and others.
This is a four-part training series designed to provide valuable information, practical strategies, and support for resource, kinship, adoptive, and foster families. Attend the session that interests you most, or join us for the entire series to gain the full benefit of all four trainings. Each session can stand alone, but together they offer a comprehensive learning experience to help strengthen your knowledge, skills, and confidence as a caregiver.
