“Strengthening Families 101”
Presented by: Denise Trafton
The training is the 5 Protective Factors from the Center for the Study of Social Policy. Protective factors are elements that when present, increase the success and resiliency of individuals, families and communities. They are a proven strategy for preventing Child Abuse and Neglect.
In a more simple way, The protective factor training introduces a way or approach for working with families to build resilience in both the parents and the children.
