Joy Young, AFFM Trainer, will be presenting training on Mandated Reporting. The purpose of this training is to promote child safety by increasing the knowledge of mandated reporters regarding the identification of the signs of abuse and neglect and explaining the process for reporting abuse.
Training objectives:
- Define the role of mandated reporters.
- Identify behavioral and physical indicators of child abuse or neglect.
- Understand the steps necessary to make a Child Protective Services report.
Attendees will receive a certificate for 2 hours towards relicensing.
