Normative Crisis in Adoption
This training will assist participants in identifying normal crisis and issues related to adoption. It will provide a brief overview of what to anticipate as your adopted child/children manage their emotions surrounding the complexities of having at least two sets of parents as well as adverse traumatic experiences. The presentation will utilize a power point presentation and provide the opportunity for discussion followed by Q & A.
This training is presented by Bette Hoxie, AFFM Kinship Support Specialist.
Attendees will receive a certificate for 1.5 hours towards relicensure.
