DESCRIPTION:The Invisible Suitcase Part II - Repacking a Child's Beliefs
  \n\nThis training is for resource parents who have completed The Invisi
 ble Suitcase Part I. In Part II we explore what you might have in your o
 wn invisible suitcase\, and how these beliefs may affect the way you rea
 ct to the children in your care. This training provides helpful\, concre
 te suggestions about how to explore the child’s beliefs and respond to
  them differently. By doing this\, you will learn to repack the child’
 s suitcase with new\, healthier experiences and beliefs\, which can resu
 lt in new\, healthier behavior. \n\n\nPresented by: Central Maine Youth 
 Trauma Initiative (CMYTI)\, a National Child Traumatic Stress Network gr
 ant-funded project of  MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Edmund Ervin Ped
 iatric Center is offering four online Resource Parent/Kinship Caregiver 
 trainings. The trainings are free and count toward relicensing education
  hours. Each training is scheduled for 90 minutes to allow for 60 minute
 s of training\, and 30 minutes of discussion/networking for those who ar
