 he Study of Social Policy.  Protective factors are elements that when p
 resent\, increase the success and resiliency of individuals\, families a
 nd communities.  They are a proven strategy for preventing Child Abuse 
 and Neglect.\n\n\n\n\n\n In a more simple way\, the protective factor t
 raining introduces a way or approach for working with families to build 
 resilience in both the parents and the children.\n\n\n\n\n\nFacilitated 
 by: Bette Hoxie\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*FREE onsite childcare is provided for 
 all children with advance notice.\n\n\n\n\n*Mileage reimbursement for fa
